What interests/ excites you about the industry you are working in?
In my current role, I am not constrained to working in a single industry. The use of embedded systems is cross-industry, so you might work for organisations involved in Life Sciences as well as the Automotive and Aerospace industries, among others. Each industry has its specific regulations and standards that must be complied with. It can be challenging learning how to use the knowledge and tools from one industry to another, but when your work can make a difference, it is very rewarding to overcome these challenges.

How would you describe the culture at Expleo?
The culture at Expleo is based on collaboration and knowledge sharing, where colleagues regardless of the location are keen to help on projects that you are involved in. During my first few months at Expleo, I was working on an internal R&D project that allowed me to contact peers from Ireland and abroad that faced the same problems that I was trying to solve. The contribution given by those peers was crucial for the development of my project and could not have been completed without the reach and interaction I was able to gain from working in an international organisation.
