The client\u2019s business objective was to successfully launch a new high-technology sports car that would boost the prestigious brand\u2019s stature and success. This car is at the forefront of automotive technology, stretching the boundaries of both development and capability.<\/p>

Success relied on a high standard of embedded software development<\/a> to ensure that the user and driving experience remained in line with both OEM and their end customer expectations.<\/p>

Having built a relationship with the client over 20 years, we were entrusted to work across several areas of the vehicle\u2019s software development to ensure a successful outcome<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

With prior success on similar projects with other OEM\u2019s, we were able to quickly establish a bespoke solution and rapidly deploy a team across important areas of technology development.<\/p>

Using a bestshoring approach<\/a>, Expleo brought together specialists from the UK, Romania, France and India, who collaborated closely with the client\u2019s own developers, using Agile methodology and tools.<\/p>

Expleo\u2019s activity included writing requirements and specifications, use case validation, embedded software development, continuous testing, functional safety development and validation, software integration as well as releasing toolchain software development.<\/p>

We established a close governance and operating model with our client to ensure the partnership maintained its focus on successful delivery.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Expleo helped the client to deliver the sports car on time and to the highest quality expected by its customers, and members of the media, motoring journalists were particularly impressed by the advanced technology of the vehicle.<\/p>

The client achieved their desired outcome of re-enforcing its brand image, resulting in increased revenue and profit. The client is now working on developing its next high-performance prototype and has entrusted Expleo with the ongoing model year updates and releases of the newly launched vehicle.<\/p>
