technology that\u2019s powering a revolution in urban air mobility<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Bristol, UK, 6 August, 2025 \u2013<\/strong> Stirling Dynamics, part of global engineering, technology and consultancy service provider Expleo, is partnering with leading Japanese eVTOL specialist, SkyDrive Inc, on its zero-emission air-taxi, the SKYDRIVE SD-05.<\/p>\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.stirling-dynamics.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Stirling Dynamics<\/a>\u2019 UK-based team of engineers will design the pilot control stick for SkyDrive\u2019s next generation electric flying vehicle, which uses <a href=\"https:\/\/expleo.com\/global\/en\/case-studies\/electric-air-taxi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">eVTOL technology <\/a>that allows it to take off and land vertically at vertiports or on rooftops, making it especially suited to congested urban spaces.<\/p>\n\n<p>With a range of 15 to 40 km, a maximum cruising airspeed of 100km\/h and space for a pilot and two passengers, the SD-05 positions <a href=\"https:\/\/en.skydrive2020.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SkyDrive<\/a> at the forefront of a once-in-a-century mobility
