Paris, 4 July 2018.<\/strong>\u00a0Automotive components manufacturer\u00a0JTEKT Europe<\/a>\u00a0and Expleo, a world-class partner in\u00a0engineering,\u00a0quality\u00a0and digital solutions, have decided to enhance their strategic partnership by creating an R&D services center in France, near Lyon. Their work will notably focus on innovations related to developing autonomous vehicles.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The two companies have signed a multi-year agreement outlining the collaboration between their R&D teams at a shared services center, where operations began in the first quarter of 2018. Specialists from JTEKT Europe and Expleo are working on product innovation as well as serial life management projects including mechanical design, software engineering and electronics; as well as project management. They are also working on developing on-board systems and all validation stages for the various products manufactured by JTEKT Corporation.<\/p>
