The ESW Airframe Wing Engineering 2018 \u2018supplier of the year\u2019 award recognises the partner providing the best quality, agility, proactivity and overall performance to Airbus ESW as nominated by the work package leaders.<\/p><p>On December 6<sup>th<\/sup>, 2018, Airbus ESW held its annual supplier conference in Bristol, where it shared its vison and expectations for the future, as well as rewarding a supplier for their contribution to the ESW business with the \u2018Supplier of the year\u2019 award.<\/p><p>The 2018 Supplier of the year award was presented by Timothy Pegler (Vice President Airframe Wing Engineering) and was received by Jonathan Taylor (Operations Director Expleo Engineering UK) and Daniel Thorpe (Key Account Manager for Aerospace at Expleo Engineering UK).<\/p><p>Delighted to have received the Airbus Airframe Wing Engineering Supplier of the year award for a second year running, Jonathan Taylor commented \u201cThis is a fantastic achievement only made possible by the dedicated teams we have supporting Airbus; I\u2019d like to thank them for making this happen!\u201d<\/p><p>The award is a reflection of Expleo\u2019s capabilities in wing engineering, as well a testament to its relationship with Airbus Airframe Wing Engineering, both in the UK and across Europe. We believe our success is founded upon a sustained commitment to delivering cost effective robust solutions on time, every time, coupled with a spirit of proactively searching for ways to continually improve.<\/p><p>Work with Airbus ESW has included the mechanical design from concept through to certification for Primary and Secondary Structures, Analysis for static and fatigue; Systems Installation and Design; Continuous Improvement Projects; Tooling design, R&amp;D Support and Manufacturing Engineering. In previous years, Expleo have also been awarded the Innovation and Quality
