Chennai, India 7 March 2025 –<\/strong> Expleo<\/a>, the global engineering, technology, and consulting service provider, and Union Bank of the Philippines (UBP), a trailblazer in digital banking and financial technology, have been awarded the Most Innovative Data Services and Data Warehouse Project: Best Tool & Practices Adopted at the 2024 IBSi Global FinTech Innovation Awards.<\/p>

The IBSi Global FinTech Innovation Awards celebrate groundbreaking advancements in banking technology, recognising excellence in both conventional and emerging tech solutions. Hosted at the Taj Lands End in Mumbai, the sixth edition saw a record 400 submissions from banks, financial institutions, and banking as a service providers worldwide, bringing together thought leaders redefining the financial ecosystem.<\/p>

Consistently ranked among the Philippines\u2019 top banks, UBP is committed to advancing financial inclusion and helping the Philippines reach G20 status by 2050. Following its acquisition of Citigroup\u2019s Philippine consumer banking portfolio in August 2022, UBP partnered with Expleo to lead the complex data and system integration.<\/p>

Reliable data transformation for seamless customer experience<\/strong><\/p>

Expleo\u2019s longstanding partnership with UBP and deep understanding of its infrastructure enabled it to design a robust blueprint and seamless execution of data migration quality assurance, ensuring uninterrupted service for over three million cardholders, wealth management clients, and retail accounts. The project implemented an extensive framework with six layers of data validation and verification using automated data tools, preserving data accuracy and client trust at every step.<\/p>

Expleo has been assisting financial institutions globally with digital assurance and data transformation solutions that support secure, efficient, and scalable systems.
