Dans l\u2019a\u00e9ronautique, les recherches s\u2019orientent notamment vers la conception de nouveaux mat\u00e9riaux. Certains composites polym\u00e8res tels que les composites verre\/ph\u00e9nolique, actuellement utilis\u00e9s, vont \u00eatre en effet prochainement impact\u00e9s par la r\u00e9glementation europ\u00e9enne REACh. Il est donc urgent de d\u00e9velopper des solutions alternatives \u00e9galement performantes.<\/p>\n<p>Depuis quatre ans, Expleo et le CIRIMAT travaillent en \u00e9troite collaboration sur le concept d\u2019un bio-composite \u00e0 base de renfort bambou continu et de matrice thermoplastique biosourc\u00e9e. Valid\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle laboratoire, ce concept doit \u00eatre \u00e0 pr\u00e9sent valid\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle industrielle.<\/p>\n<p>C\u2019est \u00e0 ce d\u00e9fi que r\u00e9pond le projet collaboratif FUI BAMCO en proposant de nouveaux bio-composites r\u00e9alis\u00e9s \u00e0 partir de fibres longues de bambou. S\u2019il existe d\u00e9j\u00e0 des solutions \u00e0 base de fibres de lin ou de chanvre, ces bio-composites sont, eux, totalement in\u00e9dits et peuvent avantageusement remplacer les composites verre\/ph\u00e9nolique gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 leur l\u00e9g\u00e8ret\u00e9 (source de gains de masse et donc d\u2019une diminution de la consommation du carburant), leur r\u00e9sistance thermique et leurs propri\u00e9t\u00e9s m\u00e9caniques (r\u00e9sistance, absorption de chocs et des vibrations). La culture du bambou r\u00e9pond, en outre, pleinement \u00e0 l\u2019imp\u00e9ratif \u00e9cologique : une croissance rapide pour une faible consommation d\u2019eau, une faible utilisation des sols ou encore l\u2019absence d\u2019utilisation d\u2019engrais ou de pesticide.<\/p>\n<p>Dans l\u2019a\u00e9ronautique, les bio-composites BAMCO pourront \u00eatre utilis\u00e9s dans l\u2019am\u00e9nagement des cabines et entrer dans la composition des panneaux de rev\u00eatements et d\u2019habillage du fuselage ou encore dans celle des galets de service (zone de pr\u00e9paration et de stockage des prestations alimentaires dans un avion). Ils pourront \u00eatre \u00e9galement utilis\u00e9s pour la fabrication de pi\u00e8ces finies \u00e0 destination du march\u00e9 nautique et des loisirs sportifs.<\/p>\n<p>Labellis\u00e9 par le p\u00f4le de comp\u00e9titivit\u00e9 Aerospace Valley et valid\u00e9 par la Direction G\u00e9n\u00e9rale des Entreprises (DGE) dans le cadre du FUI 24 (fond unique interminist\u00e9riel d\u00e9di\u00e9 au financement de projets des p\u00f4les de comp\u00e9titivit\u00e9), le projet BAMCO est soutenu par la r\u00e9gion Occitanie Pyr\u00e9n\u00e9es-M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e, la r\u00e9gion Normandie et Bpifrance. Il fait appel \u00e0 l\u2019expertise de huit acteurs, entreprises et laboratoires de recherche, regroup\u00e9s en consortium.<\/p>\n<p>Le projet BAMCO est port\u00e9 par\u00a0<strong>Expleo<\/strong>, groupe de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence en ing\u00e9nierie, qualit\u00e9 et solutions digitales, \u00e0 l\u2019origine de cette innovation. Fort de son expertise en ing\u00e9nierie mat\u00e9riaux et de son savoir-faire a\u00e9ronautique, Expleo intervient dans la conception des pi\u00e8ces prototypes. Il assure \u00e9galement la gouvernance de ce projet d\u2019envergure et prometteur pour l\u2019industrie de demain.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Arkema<\/strong>\u00a0et\u00a0<strong>Specific Polymers<\/strong>\u00a0sont responsables de la formulation et de la mise en oeuvre de polym\u00e8res biosourc\u00e9s constituant les matrices des composites.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cobratex\u00a0<\/strong>\u00e9tudiera et proposera diff\u00e9rentes esp\u00e8ces de bambou dont une partie est cultiv\u00e9e en France. Pour r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 toutes les contraintes de mise en oeuvre des diff\u00e9rentes matrices et proc\u00e9d\u00e9s composites,<strong>\u00a0Cobratex\u00a0<\/strong>optimisera son propre proc\u00e9d\u00e9 de transformation ainsi que son propre renfort innovant. L\u2019entreprise sera \u00e9galement charg\u00e9e du changement d\u2019\u00e9chelle des mises en oeuvre de renforts techniques et semi-produits directement d\u00e9velopp\u00e9s par le CIRIMAT.<\/p>\n<p>Les laboratoires de recherche,\u00a0<strong>CIRIMAT<\/strong>\u00a0et\u00a0<strong>Compositadour<\/strong>, interviennent respectivement sur la mise en oeuvre des bio-composites \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle laboratoire et industrielle. La contribution de CIRIMAT est la conception et l\u2019\u00e9laboration \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle laboratoire des composites \u00e0 renfort fibres continues de bambou et \u00e0 matrice, soit thermoplastique, soit thermodurcissable.<\/p>\n<p><strong>M\u00e9cano ID<\/strong>\u00a0r\u00e9alise les essais de vibration pour l\u2019amortissement et la mod\u00e9lisation du comportement des bio-composites.<\/p>\n<p>Enfin, l\u2019avionneur\u00a0<strong>Lisa Aeronautics<\/strong>\u00a0intervient dans la mise en oeuvre d\u2019une pi\u00e8ce prototype pour ses futurs avions.<\/p>\n<p>Le projet BAMCO vient d\u2019entrer dans sa phase op\u00e9rationnelle avec le lancement des travaux de d\u00e9veloppement. Les premiers prototypes de pi\u00e8ces sont pr\u00e9vus pour
