Sharpening the focus: where transformation goes next

Tariff turmoil, cyber-attacks  and the humanity in AI. As politics, society and economics converge to produce more unknowns than answers, how are Ireland’s largest enterprises responding?

In the exclusive BTI 2025 event, Expleo launched the sixth edition of the award-winning Business Transformation Index 2025 report, revealing insights through the lens of 200 of the most influential business and IT decision-makers in Ireland. Over 100 attendees of the BTI 2025 launch event were the first to gain a clear view of what’s next in Ireland’s rapidly evolving business landscape.

The BTI 2025 shows that last year, 81% of enterprises scaled back digital transformation plans in response to market realignment, changes in business direction and project non-viability. It signalled the dawn of a new digital: a movement away from broad innovation towards a sharper, value-driven focus.

Benchmark your performance against industry peers and gain valuable insights and recommendations to navigate and overcome today’s significant business challenges in Ireland.

What attendees had to say

Now in its sixth year, the BTI 2025 brought together many of Ireland’s most senior business leaders to share insights, exchange ideas, and explore what lies ahead for the Irish economy. An esteemed panel of experts from across sectors led a lively and thought-provoking discussion, particularly around the role of AI and the evolving challenges and opportunities it presents for business transformation.

What an absolute pleasure it was to spend yesterday evening at the BTI 2025 event. It was an eye-opening evening with panellists talking about their experiences with AI in their organisations and their own unique ways of handling board and organisational resistance. The event was topped off with a hugely entertaining and informative talk by the knowledgeable and often hilarious Dr Lollie Mancey.
Listening to the challenges of other people’s journeys and knowing that everyone faces the same type of problems if not the same level. Getting valuable nuggets of information which we can then use on our own transformation.
