- Hydrogen & Sustainable Innovation: Carbon emissions from rail are lower per passenger than both road and air, but as passenger numbers grow, these must be lowered to meet global Net Zero targets. Expleo will be available to discuss the transition from diesel-powered locomotives to green fuels such as hydrogen, track electrification and how new approaches to engineering can bring down the weight of rolling stock to reduce both fuel usage and wear and tear on track infrastructure.
