- Jonathan Taylor named as Expleo’s next UK Managing Director (MD), taking up the role from 1 September 2026

- Brings more than 22 years’ engineering, operational and commercial experience at Expleo, including leading its Marine business
- The transition follows Jeff Hoyle’s decision to step down as UK MD after more than 33 years with the company
- Hoyle led the succession process and will remain with Expleo as Chairman, UK, until the end of the year
London, UK, 28 September 2026 – Expleo, the engineering, technology and consulting services provider, has appointed Jonathan Taylor as UK Managing Director (MD) to lead the next phase of the company’s UK growth strategy.
The announcement comes as organisations operating in complex, highly-regulated markets including aerospace, defence, marine, automotive and financial services face growing pressure to deliver major programmes faster, modernise legacy systems, strengthen resilience and adopt digital technologies at scale.
Taylor brings more than two decades of engineering, operational and commercial leadership experience at Expleo. Most recently, he led the company’s Marine business across commercial and defence markets, where he focused on improving delivery performance and building long-term client relationships in one of the UK’s most demanding sectors.

Taylor took up the role on 1 September 2026. The change follows Jeff Hoyle’s decision to step down as UK MD after more than 33 years with the company. Hoyle led the process to identify his successor and will remain with Expleo as Chairman, UK, until the end of the year to ensure a smooth handover and maintain continuity for clients and the business.
