Chennai, India, 6 October 2025 – Expleo, a global engineering, technology, and consulting services provider, contributed to the successful development of a new Mercedes-Benz Trucks and Buses manufacturing facility in Indonesia. The plant is operated by Daimler Commercial Vehicles Manufacturing Indonesia (DCVMI), a Daimler Truck company.
The project involved relocating existing production operations to a new site. Expleo provided support throughout both the planning and execution phases, including technical studies, layout planning, and production ramp-up.
Expleo’s areas of contribution included:
- Master layout and site feasibility studies
- Project management
- Process design and logistics planning
- Civil and utilities specification support
- Time studies and line balancing
- Production support
- Investment planning support
Expleo representatives also attended the official inauguration of the facility in Indonesia.
