Change Management: A smooth journey for a global financial institution

Expleo has been a quality partner of this global financial services firm since 2017, helping them deliver multiple complex projects within their global digital transformation programme.  

The programme encompassed a tailor-made enterprise transfer agency application, helping our client achieve its strategic goals and global business operations. 

We took the reins of the business change programme, guiding internal change across 20 global work streams ahead of go-live and the implementation of a future state target operating model (TOM).  

Embracing the client’s unique culture and gaining early stakeholder involvement, we steered the path with our RAPID© Change Management methodology. This allowed us to establish necessary change capabilities, structures, and governance for seamless integration and immediate business benefits. 

Empowering our client to enhance their Change Management structures resulted in seismic shifts for the company. Our cost-effective approach led to new multifaceted skills within our client’s organisation, which became standard best practice across the organisation. 

Through continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge sharing during our collaboration, our client now say they’re now a more effective organisation, delivering change with more efficiency and confidence.

Aligning with our client’s organisational culture would be crucial to the success of the project. Our approach meant embedding our experts within internal teams to establish and build project momentum. And as the programme matured, we’d need to introduce new change capabilities, robust governance, and benefit measurement frameworks.  

Solution: We merged our teams with internal resources to build project momentum during the early stages, ensuring everything kept moving in the right direction. 

Solution :  As the journey progressed, we selectively introduced appropriate new change capabilities, initiatives, communications and governance to the programme and to the wider team and stakeholders. 

Solution : We developed the Expleo Benefits Realisation Framework, tracking benefit measures at the portfolio level to make sure they were at the forefront of project decisions.

Solution : We established a flexible programme delivery structure to make best use of all project resources and capabilities, integrating wider organisational support and Change Management development. 

Solution : We worked closely with the client to provide the appropriate change portfolio strategy, management, and delivery to all levels of consultants, internal resources and impacted stakeholders. 

Solution : We designed a fit-for-purpose governance structure, efficiently sharing essential portfolio information with senior-level stakeholders. Active involvement from the start meant they could make informed decisions.
