Paris, 1 June 2023 – Expleo, a global player in engineering, technology and consulting, will exhibit at Paris Air Show 2023 from 19-25 June at the Parc des Expositions de Paris-Le Bourget.
The Paris Air Show is the world’s largest event dedicated to the aerospace industry. This year marks its 54th edition, and it will once again bring together key players from around the world to showcase the latest technological innovations, with nearly 2,500 exhibitors from 50 countries.
Innovation to meet the needs of the industry
According to Expleo’s Business Transformation Index 2023 study, the two major technological drivers of transformation plans in the aerospace sector are cybersecurity for 51% of companies and data management for 46% of companies. Finding digital and sustainable solutions to these challenges is a priority for aerospace businesses.
At Paris Air Show, Expleo will showcase a range of innovations which will enable the manufacture of next-generation air and spacecraft. Expleo innovations that will be at Paris Air Show include:
- Cockpit controls: Developed by Expleo’s subsidiary, Stirling Dynamics, these simulator controls reproduce the dynamic feel of an aircraft cockpit for a true-to-life flight experience.
- Electrification and durability: Expleo’s range of electric solutions for aircraft enable aircraft manufacturers to meet the challenges of sustainability and urban mobility and is shaping the future of aeronautics and space technology, in particular with electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL).
- Smart Series: Combining Expleo’s technological and technical expertise, this set of digital tools automates high-volume repetitive tasks in manufacturing and assembly processes. This frees up resources for other, higher value-added activities.
- Cybersecurity: ExpleoSmeeta is a physical and software platform that combines a proprietary cybersecurity testing device with electronic components to conduct risk analyses, security assessments and investigations.
