Chennai, India 11 September 2023 –Expleo, a leading global technology, engineering, and consulting service provider, won the TestAutothon competition held recently during the STeP-IN Summit 2023, hosted at Radisson Blu, Bengaluru, India. The STeP-IN Forum, is an organisation committed to advancing the field of software testing. It conducts the annual TestAutothon, an invitational contest for bright talents to showcase their best test automation solutions.
In its 20th edition, this event attracted testing teams from over 30 top-tier global organisations, including four teams representing Expleo. Among them, eight were shortlisted to the final to present their solutions to the jury, with Expleo winning the grand prize of one (1) lakh Rupees. The challenge was to automate social media postings on the X platform (formerly known as Twitter), ensuring superior use of GUI automation, API integration, and mobile-first strategies.
Expleo’s banking team, consisting of Poonam Nagarajan, Rajeshsethuram Sethuramalingam, Jainesh Kannan, Venkatesan Pencilreddy, and Dharani Samidurai, led by Ramesh Mahadevan, was named the overall winner of the Testautothon for its holistic and collaborative approach to automation and unmatched speed in delivering a defect-free solution. The jury, comprising diverse industry experts from leading global companies, was impressed by the team’s technical prowess and deep domain expertise.
